The addition of the eye-catching yellow exterior to the Juke's palette is only the start. Inside, considerable work from Nissan's design and engineering functions has enhanced life-on-board.

The first change that existing customers notice when they get behind the steering wheel of versions above the Acenta grade is the increased size of the central infotainment screen. It's now 12.3 inches from corner to corner and it has been inclined towards the driver by 8o to bring the touch controls at the far edge of the screen to within comfortable reach, but also to enhance the cockpit-feeling which Juke customers really like.

As the driver gets comfortable behind the wheel, they will appreciate the new, smoother leather-like material which looks cleaner and also feels more satisfying to the touch.

Beyond the steering wheel, the combimeter, which houses the dials showing the Juke's speed and other key information, is now 12.3 inch digital TFT screen. The hi-resolution screen (1920 x 720 pixels) allows the driver to configure the display to show the combination of information according to their preferences.

The appearance of the combimeter can be cycled between two different basic layouts, with the classic layout showing two dials and a central space containing additional information. Alternatively, the "enhanced" layout presents the road speed and engine speed which are displayed on a pair of dials which are inclined and give a three-dimensional perspective. This allows a larger central display area where additional information can be displayed.

In the central section between the dials, the driver can display navigation directions, including a map, as well as fuel economy, audio information, eco-drive performance, tyre pressures and other key information. The controls for the display are located conveniently on the steering wheel.

The upgraded infotainment system comes with a more intuitive home screen which allows the user to tailor the screen to include the "widgets" for the functions they use the most frequently, much like they would with the home screen of their smart phone.

Additionally, the infotainment enjoys improved voice recognition and "natural language understanding" capability. This endows the system with a wider range of phrases and expressions that the system can understand as a command, ignoring hesitations or pauses. Wireless Android Auto is also now available alongside the existing wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Other new features include speed camera information and fuel price information can now be displayed in the navigation map. And the infotainment system can now play video content from USB connected devices when the car is stationary.

Reflecting the addition of the eye-catching exterior yellow, the N-Sport interior features a matching yellow highlight which is boomerang-shaped and runs across the top of the instrument panel, before angling down and framing the base of the new central infotainment screen and finishing at the air-vents.

Nissan Juke Hybrid, quanto consuma nella guida di tutti i giorni
Lunghezza: poco più di 4 metri per offrire una buona praticità di utilizzo anche in città. Carrozzeria: un po' più alta, perché la maggior parte delle persone preferisce i SUV e i crossover rispetto alle berline. Motore: ibrido di tipo full hybrid, che grazie all'elettrico promette di tenere spento il motore termico anche per oltre la metà del tempo di guida ne traffico.
Ecco "l'identikit" della nuova Nissan Juke Hybrid protagonista di questa nostra prova su strada, in cui abbiamo guidato per la prima volta un'auto che offre un'alternativa in più ai SUV ibridi di tipo full hybrid già presenti in questa categoria di mercato: la Toyota Yaris Cross, la Honda HR-V, la Hyundai Kona. E anche la Renault Captur, con cui questa nuova versione della Juke condivide il modulo di elettrificazione.

Da fuori la Nissan Juke ibrida fa capire di essere spinta da una motorizzazione di tipo full hybrid con una griglia anteriore specifica, che ha una cornice in nero lucido e un disegno a geometria variabile. Le prese d'aria infatti sono ad inclinazione variabile per migliorare l'efficienza aerodinamica ed è previsto anche un sistema che chiude o apre il flusso che investe il radiatore, sempre per privilegiare l'aerodinamica quando non è necessario raffreddare il motore termico (oppure anche la batteria e le componenti del modulo ibrido).

Anche i cerchi in lega - con misure tra i 17" e i19" - sono stati disegnati per ridurre le resistenze aerodinamiche all'avanzamento, prendendo spunto dalle ruote della Nissan Ariya, che è un'elettrica al 100%. Altri segni distintivi sono i loghi "hybrid" sulle portiere e sul portellone del bagagliaio (che sopra ha uno spoiler dedicato) e anche i passaruota hanno una nuova profilatura aerodinamica.

La capacità minima del bagagliaio è inferiore a quella delle altre motorizzazioni della Nissan Juke, si scende da 422 litri a 354 litri, perché sotto al pavimento è stata installata la batteria agli ioni di litio da 1,2 kWh di capacità, che alimenta l'elettrico. Le altre dimensioni della carrozzeria della Juke le trovate sotto, nella scheda tecnica, così come nell'abitacolo potete riconoscere che si tratta della versione ibrida da alcuni dettagli.

Come ad esempio la strumentazione, che ha un quadrante dedicato alla potenza e alla rigenerazione e un indicatore del livello di carica della batteria, oltre a un paio di spie che mostrano quando il motore elettrico è in funzione. Nello display digitale, poi, si può visualizzare la schermata che mostra i flussi di energia tra la batteria, i motori e le ruote.

Non ci sono palette al volante per regolare il livello di rigenerazione, né una posizione specifica per il selettore del cambio, mentre è possibile "chiedere" all'auto con un tasto sulla plancia di usare esclusivamente il motore elettrico (solo se la batteria è abbastanza carica e comunque per poche centinaia di metri) e vicino alla leva per cambiare le modalità di guida - eco, normal e sport - c'è il tasto chiamato e-pedal, di cui parliamo fra poco.

gli allestimenti sono N-Connecta, N-Design e Tekna, con in più la versione di lancio Premiere Edition, il listino parte da 30.300 euro e arriva 32.860 euro, con la possibilità di sfruttare l’incentivo statale di 2.000 euro rottamando un’auto con omologazione Euro 5, o precedenti.
